SAHTAC held am AGM follow up meeting to discuss some of the governance issues and ways of working for the new strategy. It was agreed that the TORs will be updated to align with the new strategy and shared with the coalition. The steering committee will be kept as is until the next AGM for review.
The three task teams agreed upon are as follow: Resource Mobilisation, Research and capacity building and Access to Health technologies. Members would be allowed to select their preferred task teams to support the implementation of the workplan. A decision was made to select Option 2 as the preferred new logo. The coalition name was finalized as ‘Strengthening Africa’s Health Technologies Advocacy Coalition.
